Quality Control

Our approach to selecting and purchasing leather and textile chemicals is deeply rooted in our core values of trust, integrity, superior quality, and environmental responsibility. We take great care in responsibly sourcing and managing chemicals, particularly in the safe handling of hazardous substances throughout their lifecycle. This policy outlines the processes for selecting suppliers and ensuring the proper handling and storage of chemicals upon arrival at our facilities.

Quality Control Procedure for Supplier Evaluation & Selection

We chose our global partners based on documented evidence demonstrating that they have established and maintain robust procedures to ensure consistent quality in their formulations, while also showing a strong commitment to responsible manufacturing practices and the effective management of chemicals throughout their entire production process. This includes adherence to environmental and safety standards, as well as a dedication to sustainability and regulatory compliance in their operations.

  • Quality Management System: Companies that demonstrate a well-established internal quality management system to guarantee the consistent quality of their products.
  • Environmental Commitment: A proven environmental management system in place and be recognized members of the Leather Working Group (LWG).
  • Documentation: Timely provision of Certificates of Analysis (COA) for every chemical purchased.
  • REACH Compliance: Adherence to the REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals) regulations.
  • Safety & Technical Documentation: A thorough review of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Technical Data Sheets (TDS), and Certificates of Analysis (COA).

Once all conditions are met, the suppliers are approved by the Management and added to our list of approved suppliers, ensuring that we uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility throughout our chemical sourcing process.

Quality Control Procedure for Products

Step 1

We ensure that every chemical used in our production process is carefully selected through comprehensive analysis and testing to guarantee it meets the necessary performance standards for leather quality. Our commitment to the highest quality ensures that only the most suitable chemicals are chosen to deliver the best results in our products.

Step 2

Upon arrival, all chemicals are quarantined for safety and subjected to thorough testing. Samples from each batch are sent to our laboratory for analysis. Only after successful testing are the chemicals approved for use and transferred to our storage facility for sale, ensuring that they meet our rigorous standards for safety and performance.

Step 3

We maintain detailed records of chemical expiry dates within our storage facility and follow a strict First In, First Out (FIFO) system for issuance. In line with our commitment to safety and environmental responsibility, any expired chemicals are disposed of in accordance with established procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
